Veronika Hlawatsch studied film at the University of Music and Performing
Arts in Vienna. Then she specialized in the world of sound in
connection with the moving image. Since 2001, she has “brought to
life” the sound level of numerous, very different films (from classic
feature films to experimental documentaries). Cooperation with the
directors Elisabeth Scharang, Marie Kreutzer, Anja Salomonowitz, Benjamin
Heisenberg, Hubert Sauper, Alain Guiraudie, ... In
addition to 3 nominations, she has already won the Austrian Film Prize for
the best sound design three times. She is currently researching the
influence of sound vibration on the human body. |
